Kritiek:
Fish4Ever is een Engelse vishandel met een duurzaamheidsbeleid. Ik kan nergens vinden dat ze daar op gecontroleerd worden. Kwestie van vertrouwen kennelijk. Hun 'sustainability promise' wordt als volgt ingevuld: * No/minimal by-catch and discard * No damage to sea bottom * No danger or damage to endangered species * No contribution to ocean dead areas and oxygen asphyxiation * No illegal fishing or resource theft * No abusive labour or working practises in our boats or factories * We only use sustainably-grown/farmed land ingredients * We support certification of fisheries * We support the fishing communities that are local to the fish we use * We support small, local, traditional and independent packing * We campaign: for better management, against illegal fishing, for better sourcing and for consumer awareness.
